About

Chris and his girlfriend Shannon reside in Fairmount, and they know what issues are important to the 195th District.
I know what it’s like both to struggle and to get a share of the American dream. I am the son of a nurse and a non-profit executive who taught me early on the importance of serving others and giving back to my community. My father died when I was only 12, forcing me to learn hard lessons about growing up in a one-parent home. I have been working since the age of 15. I’ve held jobs as varied as supermarket cashier, research assistant, dishwasher, camp counselor, and non-profit executive. I am now an attorney living in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia.
As a resident of the 195th district, I can often be found at Fairmount community meetings. I am a Fairmount Fling supporter and Septa’s 48 bus is my most frequent mode of transport in the district and around the rest of Philadelphia.
I love Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This is where our nation’s founding documents were written and where our country was born. I am running for public office because I believe we still have work to do to live up to promise of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. Too many Philadelphians and Pennsylvanians are out of work. Too many cannot get a decent education. Too many do not feel safe walking the streets at night. Too many cannot afford to see a doctor. And too often Harrisburg is a part of the problem and not the solution.
I am not promising solutions to all our problems overnight. But I will never forget that I work for the people of the 195th district. And I won’t ever stop fighting for you.
